We are looking for committed and motivated radiographers who are skilled in MRI and/or CT and who can contribute to the delivery of safe, high-quality imaging services within a busy community setting.

As a Band 7 Radiographer, you will be expected to rotate across both modalities, provide senior clinical support within the department, manage the work area when required and offer professional advice and supervision to radiographers, students and radiographic assistants. The role includes responsibility for maintaining safe clinical standards, supporting patient flow, reviewing image quality and contributing to the daily running of CT and MRI services.
The post holder will also contribute to the development of radiology services across the Trust, supporting audit, quality assurance, training and service improvement. There will be opportunities to take on line management responsibilities, including rostering, appraisal, staff development, performance management and sickness absence management.
Main duties of the jobDelivering high-quality MRI and CT examinations, ensuring appropriate patient preparation, positioning, image quality and adherence to departmental protocols.
Assessing imaging referrals, acting as an IR(ME)
R Operator and working within delegated Practitioner responsibilities where applicable.
Administering IV contrast, including cannulation, use of pressure injectors and assessment of patient suitability for contrast examinations.
