We are recruiting for a Senior HR Payroll Specialist to join our European HR Payroll team, based in our London Office
. This role will report to the European HR Payroll Manager and work collaboratively with local HR, payroll specialists, and Finance. It focuses on maintaining accuracy, quality, and compliance across Payroll, Mobility, and Immigration, supporting expats in EU markets.
- Support EU markets to lead end‑to‑end payroll process.
- Cooperate closely with EU markets Payroll Partners and HR Managers.
- Execute controls of payroll files throughout the payroll cycle.
- Manage payroll for expats, coordinating with tax advisors and mobility partners.
- Validate and approve payroll data as part of the payroll chain.
- Manage salary payments, taxes, social security, and other payroll related payments for EU markets.
- Manage month‑end and quarterly payroll reports for Finance.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve payroll issues.
- Lead payroll, mobility and immigration governance, internal/external audits, and continuous improvement.
- Provide strategic input into EU‑level policies, systems, and tools.
- Manage immigration process for expats coming/leaving EU markets.
- Payroll management experience in retail or high‑volume environments (1,000+ employees) with 3‑5 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of payroll, taxation principles, and expat rules.
- Experience working with expats, global mobility, and tax advisors.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and customer‑service mindset.
- High level of discretion, confidentiality, and accuracy.
- Proactive and self‑driven with a "can‑do" attitude.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong numerical skills, Excel proficiency, and HRIS/payroll system knowledge (Workday, Work Force System).
- Ability to work with a diverse and global team, with high cultural flexibility.
