Learning & Engagement Lead Location: London, UK (1-2 days per week onsite)
Salary: £65,000

Our client is looking for a Learning & Engagement Lead to play a key role in shaping employee experience, culture, learning, and internal communications within a growing, purpose-driven organisation operating in the financial services ecosystem.
This role sits at the heart of people development, engagement, and culture-working closely with leaders and cross‑functional teams to ensure employees are informed, engaged, and equipped to succeed.
What You Will Be Doing Learning & Development- Own and manage end‑to‑end L&D activity, including soft skills training, mentoring programmes, and annual mandatory training
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to identify learning needs and capability gaps
- Act as a culture ambassador and change champion, embedding values into everyday ways of working
- Support and participate in culture and values initiatives, including ED&I, volunteering, engagement programmes and speaker events
- Administer and support annual engagement and pulse surveys
- Own and manage internal communications across channels (including SharePoint and Microsoft Teams)
- Create clear, engaging, and consistent content aligned to organisational goals
- Manage content on Intranet and collaboration platforms, ensuring accuracy and relevance
- Lead quarterly in‑person employee briefings and social events
- Own and run bi‑monthly All Hands calls, including agenda planning, content sourcing and delivery
- Support leaders with messaging, scripts and presentations for internal briefings and town halls
- Support delivery of the CSR strategy, including volunteering, charity partnerships, and ethical and sustainability initiatives
- Proven experience in HR, Learning & Development, Engagement and or Internal Communications
- Strong understanding of modern L&D, culture and engagement best practice
- Experience delivering engagement initiatives through multiple communication channels
- Confident presenter with experience facilitating sessions, writing scripts and delivering briefings
- Hands‑on experience with SharePoint, intranets and digital workplace tools
- Experience supporting ED&I, volunteering and CSR initiatives
- L&D or Internal Communications qualification (CIPD desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong facilitation and presentation capability
- Creative storyteller with a strategic, results‑focused mindset
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and projects
- Proactive, collaborative and adaptable self‑starter
- Passionate about culture, engagement and employee experience
- Solid Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and SharePoint (intermediate)
- Hybrid role: 1-2 days per week onsite in London
