The Impact You’ll Make

As a Senior Recruiter at Recursion, you will be a strategic talent partner responsible for building critical business capabilities that help us accelerate the discovery and delivery of life‑saving medicines. Based in the UK, you will partner closely with senior leaders to deliver exceptional talent in a timely manner.

This role is for you if you are dissatisfied with the pace of traditional drug development and motivated to apply your recruiting expertise to a bold, interdisciplinary approach. The work will be demanding and fast‑paced, but deeply meaningful. You will influence and drive hiring strategy in a fast‑moving, scientific environment. This Role, You Will
  • Act as a strategic recruiting partner to leaders across various functions, advising on hiring strategy, role design, and market dynamics, with a primary focus on Clinical Development
  • Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for senior and specialised roles across the UK and US, from intake through offer and close
  • Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for clinical, regulatory, and related disciplines within biotech and life sciences
  • Apply strong knowledge of UK and US hiring markets, including regional practices and compliance considerations
  • Deliver a high‑quality, inclusive candidate experience, acting as a compelling ambassador for Recursion’s mission and culture
  • Leverage data and insight to track progress, diagnose challenges, and continuously improve hiring outcomes
  • Partner closely with the wider People Team to ensure recruiting efforts align with broader people and organisational strategies

The Experience You’ll Need
  • 7-10+ years in recruiting, with deep focus on Clinical Development hiring efforts
  • Proven background recruiting within biotech, pharma, or life sciences corporate environments
  • Demonstrated experience supporting both UK and US hiring, including senior and specialised roles
  • Experience with leveraging AI recruiting technologies and best practices
  • Strong capability in managing complex, full‑cycle searches in high‑growth or research‑driven organisations
  • Excellent stakeholder partnering skills, with confidence advising senior leaders and influencing hiring decisions
  • Strong sourcing expertise and established networks within clinical and biotech talent markets
  • Sound judgement, prioritisation, and resilience in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
  • A commitment to delivering a thoughtful, inclusive candidate experience
  • Prior experience with Greenhouse & HiBob are a plus!
Working Location & Compensation

This is an office‑based, hybrid position at one of our offices in either Milton Park or London, England. Employees are expected to work in the office at least 50% of the time.

At Recursion, we believe that every employee should be compensated fairly. Based on the skill and level of experience required for this role, the estimated current annual base range for this role is £66,600 to £89,300 (GBP). You will also be eligible for an annual bonus and equity compensation, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
