HR Operations Associate | Global Multi‑Strategy Hedge Fund London (Hybrid) | Salary (Salary Negotiable)

We’re working with a leading multi‑strategy hedge fund in London that is seeking an HR Operations Associate to join its global people function. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys balancing operational responsibilities with cross‑regional collaboration.

About the Role:

You’ll be part of the team responsible for ensuring smooth, accurate, and high‑quality HR operations across the business. The role offers exposure to multiple regions and the opportunity to contribute to an exceptional employee experience.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting a wide range of HR processes throughout the employee life cycle — from background checks and onboarding to Workday updates, perks coordination, and leaver processes.
  • Assisting with the development and upkeep of HR policies and maintaining global employee handbooks.
  • Helping streamline internal processes by contributing to operational improvements and workflow enhancements.
  • Partnering with teams across the organisation to ensure the seamless execution of people‑related initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years of experience in, or exposure to, HR or a broader human capital role.
  • Strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and total discretion when managing confidential information.
  • The ability to multitask, stay adaptable, and bring forward suggestions to improve efficiencies.
  • Clear and confident communication skills — written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • Experience with HR systems (Workday preferred).
  • Ideally, experience within financial services or exposure to similar fast‑paced, high‑performance environments.
  • Competent Excel skills and an enthusiasm for learning new systems and technologies.
