The Wellcome Trust is a global charitable foundation. We improve health for everyone by funding science, leading policy and advocacy campaigns and building partnerships.
We plan to spend 16bn over the next ten years funding new discoveries in life, health and wellbeing and taking on three global health challenges: mental health, infectious disease and climate and health.
These challenges need the bold science we support, but they won’t be solved by science alone.
LocationReporting into the People Services Lead you will be an integral part of our People team, playing an active role in helping enable Wellcome to become the best place to work in support of the delivery of the mission.
ResponsibilitiesThe HR Apprentice is a developmental role where you will be providing comprehensive support across the People team. You will be contributing to the effective operation of the department while learning the basics of HR as a foundation for a broader career in the field. You will be part of the People Service Desk which provides administrative support and customer service across the Employee Lifecycle.
Qualifications- Business Management/HR Degree or apprenticeship equivalent.
- A strong interest in developing a long‑term career in HR.
- Office experience preferred (could have been undertaken as part of a placement year).

At Wellcome we have a hybrid way of working: 3 days in our Euston Road offices (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) with the remaining 2 days working either remotely or in the office.
