Heart Mind Talent is excited to partner with a cybersecurity company enabling organisations to assess and reduce cyber-risk through continuous exposure management, covering assets, applications, cloud and networks. With a global footprint and a strong growth trajectory, the company is scaling rapidly and further strengthening its people function as a strategic foundation for growth.

Role Purpose

As HR Director, you will lead the global People & Culture function and serve as a key strategic partner to the Executive Leadership Team. Your mission will be to build and deliver a forward-looking people strategy and operational framework that supports rapid growth, a high-performing culture of trust and respect, and the organisational agility required for the cyber-security industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the executive leadership team to develop the people strategy aligned with business growth, acquisition/integration objectives and global expansion.
  • Act as a senior leader and ambassador for People & Culture — shaping and embedding values of trust, respect, adaptability and commitment across the global organisation.
  • Provide leadership, insight and oversight of global HR operations and key initiatives (talent acquisition, performance management, leadership development, reward & recognition, diversity & inclusion, culture).
  • Lead change programmes and support organisational design to ensure the company is positioned for scalable growth.
  • Design and implement end-to-end talent strategies including workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, development and retention, especially in high-growth areas.
  • Build and evolve the company employer brand to attract top talent in cybersecurity, technology and related disciplines.
  • Drive initiatives to foster an inclusive, engaging, high-performance culture that supports innovation and teamwork in a global, distributed company.
  • Ensure leadership development and succession planning frameworks are in place, and actively develop the leadership pipeline.
  • Oversee global HR operations including HR policies, compliance (across multiple jurisdictions), HRIS systems, process efficiency and metrics-driven people analytics.
  • Lead Reward & Total Compensation strategies, aligning pay, equity and benefits to market and company strategy.
  • Develop and monitor people-related KPIs and dashboards (e.g., turnover, time-to-hire, engagement, diversity metrics) and use data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and regulatory requirements across multiple markets; manage risk and partner with legal/finance functions.
  • Build, mentor and lead a high-calibre global HR team, ensuring talent, systems and processes are fit-for-purpose for the stage of growth.
  • Act as a role model for people leadership, promoting collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Champion global initiatives – e.g., employee engagement, internal mobility, remote/hybrid working models, wellbeing & employee experience.
Candidate Profile Experience & Expertise
  • Significant experience (10+ years) in senior HR leadership roles in high-growth, global technology companies (preferably SaaS or cybersecurity).
  • Proven track record of building and scaling people functions, designing and implementing people strategies aligned with business scaling.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, systems, policies and compliance across multiple geographies.
  • Experience with talent acquisition, culture change, leadership development, reward strategy and people analytics.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling organisation, adept at managing ambiguity and driving results through influence.
Personal Qualities
  • Strategic mindset combined with operational orientation: able to think long term and execute short-term priorities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — able to partner with executive leadership and influence across all levels.
  • Strong business acumen — understands how people strategy drives business outcomes.
  • A values‑led leader who thrives in collaborative, inclusive, agile settings and can build trust quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, build teams and drive culture in a global environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in HR, Organisational Development, Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills beneficial depending on region coverage.
What’s in It for You
  • Ability to shape and lead a global people function at a high-impact technology company.
  • Opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, influence strategic direction and build something foundational.
  • Dynamic, inclusive, and international environment with strong culture of trust, respect, adaptability and commitment.
  • Attractive compensation, benefits and potential equity in a growth‑stage business.
