As ADVANZ PHARMA continues to strengthen its position as the partner of choice for specialty, hospital, and rare disease medicines, we have an exciting opportunity for an HR Business Partner (UK/IRL/Nordics) to join our team in London.

As HR Business Partner, you will contribute to the success of the business by implementing and executing short- and long-term strategies, policies, and programs to support the department objectives.

The HRBP will ensure alignment and consistency in implementation of HR processes and initiatives across the business to achieve the HR & Company’s strategic objectives, by acting as the HR lead on a range of different projects and responsibilities.

You will be responsible for providing employees and managers with proactive advice, guidance, and support across the full range of generalist HR queries in a timely manner. Supporting the entire HR Department to ensure alignment and consistency in the implementation of HR process, operations, and initiatives across the business.

The role involves working in close collaboration with the Global HR team and provide professional HR guidance and support to relevant internal client groups with the objective to add value to the business.

What You’ll Do:
  • Act as an HR partner to the business group in the delivery of the strategic people plan and initiatives to support the business.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationship with business stakeholders.
  • Partner with line managers by providing expert guidance through individual employee relations issues including grievance, disciplinary, capability and absence management.
  • Support in the implementation of the annual Performance Review cycles (including objective setting, mid and end of year reviews) supporting the business to drive continual performance improvement and ensure differentiation of reward for performance.
  • Lead in training and coaching to employees and managers to ensure effective use of talent management tools and processes.
  • Manage full recruitment process, liaising with hiring managers and recruitment agencies to ensure all open positions are filled with quality candidates in a timely manner.
  • Actively participate in on-boarding of new employees to ensure their successful integration into the business. Coach’s managers on their role in the on-boarding process.
  • Implement job analyses and job evaluation to ensure a sensible and equitable job structure within the business.
  • Design and implement employee engagement activities and motivate employee participation in unit specific engagement activities.
  • Implementation of talent management initiatives like performance management, succession planning.
  • Work with Senior Leaders to introduce succession plan and workforce planning to the organisation.
  • Analyse trends and metrics for the business unit, e.g. attrition, mobility, demographics etc. Identify associated risk and build risk mitigation plans.
  • Work collaboratively across geographies and HR COE to ensure objectives across HR are delivered.
  • Implement key company wide HR initiatives as interface between HR COE and the business in the respective unit.
