Global Talent & Organisation Director
I am delighted to be partnering with one of the largest global FMCG businesses to hire a Global Talent & Organisational Director. They are looking for a seasoned HR leader with global experience across talent development to take on a pivotal role in shaping the future of talent and organisational strategy for a global business group.
This is a highly strategic and influential position within a global business operating in a complex matrix structure. The role will shape the future of talent and organisational capability across a worldwide business group.
Key Focus Areas- Global Talent Strategy
:
Design and deliver frameworks to build skills and capabilities aligned with business priorities. - Leadership Development
:
Partner with senior leaders to identify and develop top talent for critical roles. - Organisation Design & Capability Building
:
Ensure structures and skills are fit for purpose, driving transformation and growth. - Strategic Influence
:
Act as a connector between global design and business group needs (approx. 50/50 split). - Innovation & Agility
:
Move beyond traditional L&D to integrated talent solutions, leveraging data and design thinking. - Hands‑On Design
:
No direct reports initially—requires ability to build and execute personally while influencing at scale.
- It is essential that you have 8-10+ years in talent management with global experience in large, matrixed organisations (likely in a Centre of Excellence or global group role).
- Expertise in talent mapping, succession planning, and capability assessment.
- Strong leadership qualities, strategic mindset, and ability to work across cultures.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, agile methodologies, and digital HR tools.
- Consulting background is welcome; however this must include experience with global clients of similar complexity and business size.
