About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a highly respected professional services firm to appoint an organised, proactive, and detail‑driven People Operations Advisor. This is an excellent career opportunity for someone with HR or People Operations experience who is looking to join a firm known for its strong culture, high standards, and commitment to developing its people.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the firm’s People function, ensuring smooth and compliant processes across the entire employee lifecycle.
Role OverviewWorking as part of a collaborative People team, the People Operations Advisor will be responsible for delivering high‑quality operational support. You will ensure that every employee interaction—whether onboarding, performance cycles, or day‑to‑day queries—is handled with professionalism and efficiency.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and brings a solutions‑focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate onboarding and induction processes to ensure new joiners have a seamless start
- Maintain accurate employee records within HR systems and support HR reporting requirements
- Assist with benefits administration, policy updates, and compliance checks (including right‑to‑work and regulatory documentation)
- Act as a first point of contact for People/HR queries, providing timely and supportive guidance
- Support cyclical processes such as performance reviews, promotions, and salary rounds
- Prepare HR documentation such as contracts, letters, and policy updates
- Contribute to firm‑wide People initiatives including engagement, wellbeing, and DE&I programmes
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve operational processes
- Previous experience in HR, People Operations, or a similar administrative role (professional services experience is an advantage)
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator able to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Discreet, reliable, and comfortable handling confidential information
- Strong systems capability—HRIS experience desirable
- Proactive, resourceful, and eager to contribute to a high‑performing team
