Tech / IT Recruiter, HRIS Professional
Reporting to the U.S. based Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition, you will lead Flatiron s technical recruiting efforts in Europe, as part of our continued expansion into the United Kingdom and Germany.
You’ll work closely with business leaders, hiring managers, and interviewers on Machine Learning, Software Engineering, and other technical teams to attract and hire world class technologists. In addition, you will:
What You’ll Do- Strategize on ways to successfully build talent pipelines for multiple, complex searches
- Directly source candidates through research, messaging campaigns, social media, referral generation, and events
- Own relationships with candidates from application through closing, ensuring that candidates are seamlessly moving through the interview process
- Manage offers by extending offers, negotiating, and acting as an internal advocate for candidates
- Collaborate with talent acquisition peers to learn, teach, and grow
- Support hiring for non-technical roles, early careers professionals, and openings in other markets as needed
You’re a kind, passionate, and collaborative problem-solver who is able to proactively adjust to shifting priorities, and values the chance to make an important impact. You are a resourceful recruiter with at least 5 years of experience helping organisations hire technical talent in the United Kingdom. You’re excited by the prospect of rolling up your sleeves to tackle meaningful problems each and every day.
You are well organized, detail oriented, and self motivated. In addition:
- You have in depth knowledge of the technical talent market in London
- You have previous experience closing complex offers for highly competitive roles
- You have strong sourcing skills, and a deep familiarity with Linked In Recruiter
- You are a clear and persuasive written and verbal communicator
- You are comfortable communicating with, and have experience influencing, stakeholders and hiring managers at all levels
- You are passionate about technology and the fight against cancer
- You have experience working as part of an in-house internal recruitment team
- You have experience working with Greenhouse as an ATS and Workday as a HRIS
- You have experience as an external agency recruiter
- You have experience hiring roles in Germany, Japan, or the United States
- You are fluent in German or Japanese
