Essendi is looking for an HRIS Officer for a period of up to 12 months fixed term contract to join our HR team. You will be part of the Hammersmith Support office team of 70 people and also part of the wider team of our hotels.
About the RoleAs an HRIS Officer, you will play a vital role in assisting with the management of HRIS processes and queries from start to finish. The HRIS Officer will report to the HR Manager and work closely with our Senior HR & Benefits Advisor. You will work to resolve issues and escalate to the Senior HR & Benefits Advisor where necessary. This position would suit an organised, competent and committed individual with a can-do and solution-oriented attitude which is maintained under pressure.
You will be confident and resilient, flexible with strong attention to detail whilst being a supportive team player. This role would best suit someone with excellent interpersonal skills who can confidently liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage the data cleanse process for the UK workforce.
- Review and manage all data/transactions submitted by the hotels to ensure its accuracy and compliance before it is submitted to the payroll interface.
- Liaise with the Corporate office in Paris and external Project Consultants on the system development as needed.
- Work closely with the various stakeholders to ensure that the HR, Payroll, Resourcing and L&D modules are functioning as expected.
- Assist with reviewing and documenting processes undertaken within HR & Payroll and making recommendations for their development.
- Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by analysing data.
- Assist in delivering systems administration and maintain and provide user support for the Human Resources Information System.
- Deal with systems queries and process requests in relation to problem solving, systems configuration and technical faults.
- Maintain and support users through a helpdesk service for employee/manager self-service.
- Produce the necessary communication to address global changes/issues impacting users.
- Design user guides for end users as needed.
- Provide system training to HR and non-HR users.
- Actively seek opportunities to learn new skills and develop expertise that would contribute to the effective delivery of the role.
- HRIS Platforms Expertise with experience with systems like, Oracle HCM, ADP, or similar.
- Database Management and understanding of data structures, queries, and reporting tools.
- System Configuration understanding, experience with workflows, permissions, and integrations.
- Data Privacy & Compliance: GDPR and HR data security standards.
- Employee Lifecycle Management, understanding onboarding, offboarding, and record keeping.
- Data Accuracy & Integrity to ensure clean and reliable HR data.
- Identifying and resolving system issues quickly.
- Streamlining HR workflows using technology.
- Stakeholder Management as will be working with HR teams, GMs, IT.
- Training & Support by educating GMs and HR staff on system usage.
- Creating user guides and process documentation as needed.
