Payroll Specialist

An opportunity has arisen for Payroll Specialist to join Braemar Shipbroking Limited at our London office.

• Assist in the preparation and review of monthly payrolls, liaising with Cloudpay and local payroll providers.
• Maintain payroll records ensuring they match those held on HiBob HCM.
• Ensure compliance with local payroll legislation and maritime employment standards.
• Liaise with HR and Finance to ensure accurate data flow.
• Assist in the preparation and upload of pension files and generate pension payments.
• Assist with year-end reporting.
• Respond to employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Help prepare payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Strong commercial acumen and a professional code of conduct in handling confidential information
• Ability to work to deadlines in fast paced environment
• Proficient in Excel
• Excellent attention to detail

• Experience of working with payroll software
• Experience of working within a fast-paced payroll or Finance team would be advantageous
