Part-Time Payroll Specialist (16 hours per week)
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Hybrid or remote, with travel to the London office once a month
Salary: £35,000 (pro‑rated to part‑time hours)
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist for our client based in Central London. This is a part‑time position working 16hours per week and is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, organised, and confident in managing both weekly and monthly payroll cycles.
Key Responsibilities- Process weekly and monthly payroll accurately and on time
- Manage and resolve payroll queries from employees
- Calculate and track holiday entitlement
- Handle pension queries and ensure contributions are processed correctly
- Maintain up‑to‑date payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
- Liaise with HR and Finance teams where required
- Previous experience in payroll (weekly and monthly payroll essential)
- Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation
- Knowledge of holiday pay calculations and pension processes
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- Experience with payroll software (please specify on your CV which systems used)
