Our client is a leading construction and property consultancy with beautiful offices in the west end. They are recruiting a newly created role to sit within their People & Development Team, which plays a vital role in nurturing emerging talent and fostering a culture of continuous learning across the business. They are now looking to appoint a People & Development Coordinator to join them.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in early careers, learning & development, apprenticeships, or professional development administration, who is ready to take ownership of programmes and develop meaningful stakeholder relationships.

The Role

The successful candidate will take ownership of our cleints growing Alternative Professional Qualifications (APQ) programmes, while supporting wider Early Talent and professional development initiatives. The candidate will provide comprehensive coordination across professional development programmes, apprenticeship provision, and broader Early Talent activities. You will build strong relationships with learners, line managers, and professional qualification providers, maintain essential development records, support events and onboarding, and ensure the smooth running of professional learning pathways across the business.

Key Responsibilities Learner Management
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees pursuing or aiming to pursue alternative professional qualifications
  • Deliver briefings to cohorts and line managers to ensure understanding of commitments and expectations
  • Act as the primary liaison between learners, line managers, and qualification providers
APQ Provider Management
  • Develop a strong understanding of relevant professional qualifications, including entry routes, study methods, and assessment criteria
  • Oversee relationships and performance with APQ providers (including APM, CIPS, CIOB and others)
  • Monitor learner progress, escalate risks, and coordinate timely interventions
  • Manage enrolments, progress reviews, and completion tracking
  • Coordinate chartership sessions and development activities
  • Liaise with internal subject matter experts on session content and logistics
  • Track attendance, gather feedback, and support continuous programme improvement
APQ Community & Events
  • Manage and maintain APQ Teams community pages
  • Coordinate APQ-related workshops, events, and communications
CSA Database & Agreement Management
  • Maintain and update the Course Sponsorship Agreement (CSA) database
  • Issue new CSAs and track completion periods
  • Produce regular activity and completion reports
  • Draft and issue Course Commitment Statements
  • Support apprenticeship briefings alongside the P&D Director
  • Coordinate co-providers and ensure quality and compliance standards
  • Monitor apprenticeship milestones and gateway requirements
Early Talent Support (Ad Hoc)
  • Assist with internal assessments and absence cover
  • Support candidate communications, assessment centre logistics, and events
  • Oversee the mentoring programme and digital platform
  • Manage mentor/mentee onboarding and matching
  • Track engagement and promote programme visibility
Onboarding & New Joiner Experience
  • Support onboarding across professional development pathways
  • Coordinate inductions, welcome communications, and events
  • Ensure a consistent and positive onboarding experience
Wider L&D Projects
  • Provide coordination and administrative support across broader Learning & Development initiatives, including event logistics, programme enhancements, and cross-team projects
Skills & Experience
  • Entry-level experience in HR administration, Early Careers, Learning & Development, or a related field
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (Teams, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Familiarity with apprenticeship programmes and funding (e.g. Apprenticeship Levy)
  • Awareness of professional qualifications (e.g. RICS, APM, CIOB)
  • Experience supporting graduate or apprenticeship schemes
  • Degree educated or equivalent experience
