Role Overview
The Human Resource Manager is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of human resource functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and regulatory compliance. The role supports organisational growth by developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives, while ensuring adherence to employment laws and best practices.
The Human Resource Manager acts as a strategic partner to management, fostering a positive workplace culture, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring effective workforce planning and development.
Roles & Responsibilities 1. Strategic HR ManagementDevelop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives, Partner with management on workforce planning and organisational development, Lead succession planning and talent retention initiatives
2. Talent Acquisition & OnboardingManage full-cycle recruitment (sourcing, interviewing, selection, onboarding), Develop employer branding and recruitment strategies, Ensure smooth onboarding and orientation for new hires
3. Compensation & BenefitsOversee payroll administration and ensure accuracy, Review and manage compensation structures and benefits programmes, Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis
4. Employee RelationsManage employee grievances, disciplinary matters and conflict resolution, Advise management on HR policies and employment matters, Foster positive employee engagement and workplace culture
5. Policy & ComplianceEnsure compliance with Singapore employment laws and regulations, Develop, review and update HR policies and employee handbook, Maintain proper HR documentation and confidential records
6. Performance & DevelopmentOversee performance appraisal processes, Identify training needs and implement learning & development programmes, Support leadership development initiatives
Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration or related field
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a managerial capacity
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and labour regulations
- Experience in payroll administration and HR systems
- Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
- Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
