We’re now looking for a HR Manager to join the team and help support our continued growth. You’ll work across recruitment, onboarding, staff wellbeing, and internal operations, playing a key role in maintaining a healthy, happy and high performing culture.

The Role

This is a hands-on, people-first role where you’ll own the day to day HR function and help shape the employee experience at Sidemen Entertainment. You’ll be the go-to person for staff support, manage our hiring and onboarding processes, and ensure we remain compliant, organised, and forward-thinking as we scale.

What You’ll Be Doing

Recruitment

  • Writing job descriptions and posting to platforms like Linked In
  • Screening CVs, shortlisting candidates, and scheduling interviews
  • Liaising with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
  • Supporting diverse, inclusive, and fair hiring practices

Onboarding

  • Sending offer letters, contracts, and conducting Right to Work checks
  • Liaising with Finance to ensure smooth payroll setup
  • Adding new employees to HR systems and internal platforms
  • Supporting new joiners through their first weeks and beyond

Offboarding

  • Coordinating and attending exit interviews
  • Handling offboarding documentation and access removal
  • Feeding back insights to improve retention and team experience
  • Acting as the first point of contact for internal issues or concerns
  • Conducting monthly 121 check-ins with all staff
  • Helping nurture a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture
  • Supporting internal communication and morale

HR Admin & Policy

  • Managing annual leave, sickness, and other entitlements
  • Keeping all HR systems and employee records up to date
  • Ensuring policies and procedures are clear, current, and legally compliant
  • Supporting annual performance reviews and development tracking
  • Upholding GDPR and confidentiality standards across all processes

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 2 years of experience in a HR role (in-house preferred)
  • Confident managing staff conversations and sensitive issues
  • Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR compliance
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Great communication skills and a people first mindset
  • A proactive, approachable and trustworthy presence in the team
