Provideadviceandcounseltoallbusinessunitsontopicsrangingfrompolicyinterpretation,internal investigations,performance&absence management,flexible working,harassment,discrimination,retaliation,unfair dismissal,andreductionsinworkforce
Ensureconsistentapplicationofpoliciesandprocedures
Reviewandadviseonwarninganddisciplineandterminationdocumentation,grievanceinvitationsandoutcomesandemployeeconsultationlettersacrosstheorganization-tailoringanddeliveringrecommendationsinaneffectivewaytohelpinfluencetherightoutcomeswithstakeholderswhilemitigatingrisktotheCompany
Assistwithsupportingdocumentationforallreductionsinworkforce,restructurings,andad-hocpositioneliminations.
Workwithinternallegalcounseland,where appropriate,externalcounseltoensurecompliancewithalllocallegislationontopicssuchasconductingworkplaceinvestigations,performance management,newmarketopenings.
In Partnership with Legal ,maintainanin-depthknowledgeoflegislativetrendsandlegalupdatestoadvisemarketsaccordingly.
Partnercloselywithour Loss Preventionteamandprovideexpertiseontheinvestigationandsuccessfulresolutionof ERissuesandcomplaints.
Assistwiththedevelopmentofinvestigationplansandleadcomplexinvestigationsatandaboveacertainorganizationalleveltominimizelegalrisk.
Ensurethataconsistentandequitableprocesshasbeenapplied,make recommendations,andoverseeimplementationofdecisionsthatleadtothefairandconsistentresolutionofclaimsrelatedtodiscriminationharassment,working conditions,disciplinary actions,andemployeeandapplicantappealsandgrievances.
Understandandutiliseexistingtoolstoenableacasemanagementapproachthatensureeffectiveandefficientresponseandresolution.
Leverage metrics,tools,dataandresourcestohelpidentify
ERandorganizationaleffectivenesstrends,insightsandproactivestrategiesthatassistwithincreasingengagementandreducingrisk.Conductregularauditsofthesystemtoensureproperuse.
Managetheimplementationandexecutionof
ER-relatedchangeinitiatives(e.g.,organizational restructuring,legislationchangeswhichmayimpactwaysofworking).Whererequiredtakealead
ERroleonexecutingchangeprogrammessuchasconsultationsrelatedtobusinesstransformationorreorganizations.Supportleadershipteamsthroughperiodsofchangewithclearcommunicationstrategiesandrobust
