Job Title:
HR Transformation Programme Lead Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced HR Transformation Programme Lead to modernise and digitise our HR function. This role will lead the design and delivery of a comprehensive HR transformation roadmap, optimising existing HR systems and processes, introducing automation and digital tools, and enhancing manager self-service capability.
The successful candidate will streamline transactional activity, strengthen data-driven decision making, and enable managers to take greater ownership of people leadership through improved systems, reporting, and digital solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesHR Transformation & Programme Delivery
- Develop and deliver an end-to-end HR transformation roadmap aligned to organisational strategy.
- Lead the redesign of HR processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and enhance service delivery.
- Establish governance structures, manage risks, issues and dependencies, and report progress to senior stakeholders.
- Assess current HR systems (HRIS/HCM) and optimise their use to maximise return on investment.
- Recommend, select and support implementation of new systems or digital tools where required.
- Drive improved utilisation of self-service functionality for managers and employees.
- Identify opportunities to automate transactional HR processes.
- Leverage digital tools, workflow automation, and AI-enabled technologies to improve efficiency.
- Reduce administrative burden across the HR function.
- Enhance manager access to people data, dashboards and reporting.
- Improve the usability of HR systems to empower managers in their people leadership responsibilities.
- Support upskilling initiatives to strengthen people management capability.
- Engage HR leadership, managers and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and adoption.
- Lead change management activity to embed new processes and systems.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement within HR.
- Proven experience leading HR transformation or HR systems programmes.
- Strong knowledge of HRIS/HCM platforms (e.g. Workday, Success Factors, Oracle HCM or similar).
- Experience redesigning HR processes and implementing automation solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex programmes with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of change management principles.
- Experience leveraging data and analytics to support decision-making.
- PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent project management methodology experience desirable.
- Experience implementing manager self-service functionality.
- Exposure to AI-enabled HR tools.
- Background in HR operations, HR systems or organisational change.
- Reduced manual HR processes and improved operational efficiency.
- Increased adoption of HR systems and self-service functionality.
- Improved manager capability and confidence in people leadership.
- Enhanced employee experience and service delivery.
- Strong governance and successful programme delivery to timeline.
