I am looking for proven performers to deliver on retained searches whilst also expanding with new business. They have a very strong leader focusing on Product - and are looking to emulate this across Data & Software Engineering, interestingly 60% of their work comes from within their internal network from work passed on.
What’s the Role?- Focus on working with venture capital, private equity, and growth equity clients, alongside some corporate tech clients.
- Deliver searches from mid-level to senior roles, typically Heads of, VPs, and leadership roles across Tech, Engineering, and Data.
- Mix of retained search and project-based work, with average fees ranging between £30k and £60k.
- Build and expand client relationships, focusing on new business in tech, data, and engineering sectors.
- Opportunity for Growth: Build out and shape the tech and data desk within a fast-growing business.
- Proven Market: Strong existing client base and track record, but plenty of room for growth and new client acquisition.
- Great Earning Potential: Expect to bill £350k+ annually, with comms going up to 38%
- Work-Life Balance: Hybrid model—2 days in the office (Covent Garden) and 3 days remote.
- Supportive Team: Collaborative culture with experienced leadership and a focus on success.
- Solid Existing Team: 20 head count in London with a further handful of International Offices
- Experience: 5–10 years in recruitment, with a background in contingent work and ideally some exposure to retained search.
- Skills: Proven ability to sell and win retained work, especially working with CTOs and senior leadership.
- Mindset: A driven, proactive individual who can win new business, expand accounts, and deliver strong results.
- Team Player: Comfortable collaborating with researchers and delivery consultants on projects.
