Working as part of a collaborative HR team, you will support senior leaders and managers by delivering a professional HR casework service, ensuring employment matters are managed fairly, consistently and in line with current legislation and best pract
ole Reporting to the Head of HR, you wi
- ll:
Manage a varied caseload of employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, capability, sickness absence, probation and performance management cas - es.
Provide professional HR advice and guidance to senior leaders and line managers on employment law, HR policies and best practi - ce.
Support recruitment, workforce planning, job evaluations and organisational change initiatives where requir - ed.
Assist with the development, implementation and review of HR policies and procedur - es.
Support the delivery of a high-quality HR service throughout the employee lifecycle, from recruitment through to leave - rs.
Produce HR reports, analyse workforce data and support strategic workforce planni - ng.
Build positive working relationships with trade unions, managers and other key stakeholde - rs.
Coach and support managers in handling day-to-day HR matters confidently and consistent - ly.
Ensure HR records are maintained accurately and in accordance with GDPR require men - ts.
Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance systems, processes and service delive - ry.

date
We are looking for someone who can demonstr
- ate:
A recognised HR qualification (CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experien - ce).Strong experience managing employee relations and HR casew
- ork.
Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and HR best pract - ice.
Previous experience within schools, colleges, universities or the wider education sec - tor.
Experience working within a unionised environment would be advantage - ous.
Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management ski - lls.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy and varied workl - oad.
Experience producing HR reports and analysing workforce d - ata.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience of HR systems being desira
ble.
