Alexander Lloyd is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a growing international consultancy to recruit a HR Manager.
This is an exciting standalone HR opportunity for an experienced people professional who thrives in a hands-on generalist role and enjoys taking ownership of the full employee lifecycle. Supporting a UK-based workforce while contributing to global people initiatives, you will act as the trusted HR lead for the business, partnering closely with leaders and employees across a broad range of people-related activities.
Duties:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all HR queries, providing expert support and guidance to managers and employees.
- Manage employee relations matters including performance management, absence management, disciplinary and grievance processes.
- Lead and support the performance management cycle, including goal setting, reviews, calibration and development planning.
- Partner with business leaders on reward and recognition activities, including salary reviews and bonus processes.
- Coach and develop managers to build confidence and capability in handling people matters effectively.
- Review, update and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with current UK employment legislation and best practice.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activity across permanent, contractor and graduate-level hiring programmes.
- Proactively source high-quality candidates and build talent pipelines to support future business growth.
- Coordinate onboarding, payroll administration, employee changes and offboarding processes.
- Maintain HR systems and people data, producing reports and insights to support decision-making.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and organise company events to promote a positive culture.
- Support HR projects, business growth initiatives and global people programmes as required.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong employee relations expertise with experience managing cases independently from start to finish.
- Experience delivering full-cycle recruitment across a variety of roles and levels.
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent) with a solid understanding of UK employment law.
- Previous experience operating in a standalone HR role or a small HR team environment would be highly advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience supporting organisational change, business growth or transformation initiatives would be beneficial.
- Exposure to international recruitment or global people practices would be advantageous.
