Recruitment Consultant

As a Recruitment Consultant specialising in the construction market, you will manage the full recruitment cycle — from winning new business and building client relationships to sourcing, vetting, and placing candidates within white collar construction. You'll work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, developing a warm desk with an established pipeline of roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with construction clients (contractors, developers, house builders) to understand their staffing needs
• Proactively business-develop new client accounts through calls, site visits, and networking
• Source candidates via job boards, referrals, and direct approaches
• Screen, interview, and vet candidates, ensuring right-to-work checks and relevant certifications are verified
• Meet and exceed weekly/monthly KPIs and revenue targets

Qualifications

• Proven experience in recruitment, sales, or a client-facing/target-driven role

Required Skills

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Resilience, tenacity, and a proactive  hunter  mindset for business development
• Ability to work at pace and manage multiple vacancies simultaneously

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience recruiting white collar construction staff
