We are supporting a growing professional services organisation to appoint a Senior People Business Partner to support their corporate functions. This role will work closely with senior business leaders to deliver strategic people initiatives that support business performance, talent development and organisational growth.
Operating as a trusted advisor, you will provide commercially focused people solutions, helping leaders navigate organisational challenges while fostering a high-performing and engaging employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders across Corporate Functions, acting as a trusted advisor on all people-related topics.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, talent development and workforce planning.
- Coach and support leaders in building high-performing teams and driving leadership effectiveness.
- Analyse workforce data and people insights to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and support the delivery of a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Support organisational change programmes, including restructures, team design and business transformation activities.
- Ensure people policies, processes and practices remain compliant, fit for purpose and aligned to business needs.
- Contribute to succession planning and talent management activities across the business.
- Design and deliver people-focused initiatives that enhance capability, performance and career progression.
- Act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, providing pragmatic and commercially minded advice on complex people matters.
About You
- Experience operating as a Senior HR Business Partner or People Partner supporting Corporate Functions such as Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, or Technology.
- Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Demonstrable experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
- Proven ability to manage complex employee relations matters and organisational change programmes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret people data and translate insights into action.
- Commercially aware, solutions-focused and capable of balancing business needs with employee experience.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the credibility to operate at leadership level.
