My client, a leading corporate and commercial law specialist, with offices around the world, is looking to hire a Senior HR Advisor to cover a 12-month FTC.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a high-performing People team within a highly respected international law firm. Working closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and People Operations teams, you will play a key role in delivering a first-class HR service across a designated client group

.The position offers broad exposure to the full employee lifecycle and would suit an HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, managing employee relations matters, supporting recruitment activity, and driving positive employee experiences within a fast-paced professional services environmen

t.As a trusted partner to both employees and managers, you will provide practical and commercially focused HR advice while supporting key people initiatives across the business. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, helping to deliver effective people solutions and ensuring the smooth running of HR process

ts. Key Responsibilit

    Act as a primary HR contact for designated business groups, providing advice and guidance on people-related matt
  • ers.

    Support managers with employee relations issues, performance management, probation reviews, and policy interpret at
  • ion.

    Provide practical guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best pract
  • ice.

    Support flexible working arrangements and hybrid working proces
  • ses.

    Manage parental leave processes and provide support to employees throughout their leave jour
  • ney.

    Assist with candidate shortlisting, interviews, and stakeholder managem
  • ent.

    Coordinate onboarding activity and support new joiners through their induction per
  • iod.

    Conduct regular check-ins with new employees to support successful integrat
  • ion.

    Work alongside Talent Development colleagues to support learning and development initiati
  • ves.

    Contribute to career development and employee engagement activit
  • ies.

    Assist with performance reviews, promotions, salary reviews, and bonus cyc
  • les.

    Support absence management processes, including return-to-work meetings and occupational health referr
  • als.

    Advise managers and employees on wellbeing matters and workplace adjustme
  • nts.

    Work proactively to ensure employees receive appropriate support and guia
  • nce.

    Ensure accurate employee records and documentation are maintai
  • ned.

    Liaise with People Operations and Payroll teams regarding employee chan
  • ges.

    Conduct exit interviews and analyse trends and feedb

    Produce management information, reports, and people-related insig

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced and confident HR professional who enjoys building relationships and delivering exceptional ser

vice.

You will ideally

  • have:

    Previous experience operating at HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor l
  • evel.

    Experience gained within a law firm, partnership, professional services, or similarly complex environ
  • ment.

    Strong employee relations knowledge and experience supporting managers on people mat
  • ters.

    Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activi
  • ties.

    Excellent stakeholder management and communication sk
  • ills.

    Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priori
  • ties.

    Experience using HR systems and recruitment platf
  • orms.

    Strong attention to detail and confidence working with HR data and repor
  • ting.
