Pinnacle Group are looking for a Talent Acquisition Assistant to provided administrative and operational support to the Talent Acquisition team, helping to deliver an efficient and professional recruitment and onboarding experience. Working closely with the Talent Acquisition Administrator, the role supports temporary worker administration, weekly payroll processing, onboarding activities, candidate communications and recruitment coordination. The postholder will also provide cover for the Talent Acquisition Administrator during periods of absence, ensuring continuity across payroll, compliance and onboarding processes.

This role offers excellent exposure to the full recruitment lifecycle and is ideal for someone looking to develop a career within Talent Acquisition or HR.

The Talent Acquisition Assistant will report to the Talent Acquisition Administrator and sit within the Talent Acquisition team of the wider People function.

The People function is responsible for attracting, developing, supporting, and retaining talent across the organisation. It plays a strategic and operational role in shaping the employee experience and ensuring the organisation has the right people, capabilities, and culture to achieve its goals.

The role is paying £16k per year based on a 22.5 hour per week contract. This is a fixed term role until 31st March 2027. The ideal candidate will be based around South/Central London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Coordinate interviews, assessments and candidate communications.
  • Prepare recruitment documentation, contracts, offer letters and onboarding paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate records within recruitment and HR systems.
  • Assist with recruitment reporting and data administration.
  • Support the administration of temporary workers and associated recruitment activities.
  • Assist with the preparation and processing of weekly temporary payroll.
  • Ensure timesheets and payroll information are completed accurately and submitted on time.
  • Liaise with managers, temporary workers and payroll colleagues to resolve queries.
  • Provide payroll and administration cover for the Talent Acquisition Administrator when required.
  • Support onboarding activities for new starters.
  • Coordinate pre-employment checks, including right-to-work and referencing requirements.
  • Ensure onboarding records are completed accurately and within required timescales.
  • Work with hiring managers and new starters to ensure a positive onboarding experience.
  • Support compliance and audit requirements across the recruitment process.
  • Monitor shared Talent Acquisition mailboxes and respond to enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Maintain recruitment files, records and correspondence.
  • Support recruitment campaigns, careers events and talent attraction initiatives.
  • Assist with project work and continuous improvement activities across the Talent Acquisition function.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative, coordination or customer-facing role.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proactive, reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
