The Role As a Research Analyst, you'll play a key role in delivering executive search assignments for leading hedge funds, investment managers and quantitative trading firms across North America.

Working alongside experienced consultants, you'll be responsible for researching markets, identifying exceptional talent and building detailed intelligence on senior professionals. You'll develop a deep understanding of the financial services landscape while learning how executive search firms advise clients on strategic hiring decisions.

This is an intellectually challenging, research-led role that combines analytical thinking with relationship building, giving you exposure to high-profile search assignments from day one.

Responsibilities Conduct detailed market mapping and executive research across the hedge fund and investment management sectors.

Identify and evaluate senior investment, technology and quantitative professionals for retained search assignments.

Utilise Linked In, Bloomberg and other research platforms to build comprehensive talent pipelines and market intelligence.

Engage prospective candidates through discreet, professional outreach and develop long-term relationships with industry leaders.

Produce candidate assessments, market reports and search documentation to support client mandates.

Maintain accurate research records and contribute to knowledge management across the business.

Work closely with senior consultants to deliver successful executive search projects from initial research through to final appointment.

You'll begin your career as a Research Analyst, developing expertise in executive search, market intelligence and talent mapping before progressing into an Associate role with increasing client exposure and responsibility.

From there, you'll continue to develop into a consultant and ultimately have the opportunity to build a long-term career advising some of the world's most prestigious hedge funds and investment firms on their most critical hiring decisions.

Throughout your career, you'll receive structured training, ongoing mentorship and the opportunity to work on high-profile international search assignments, with uncapped commission and excellent long-term earning potential.

About You We're looking for ambitious, resilient and commercially minded graduates who are excited by the opportunity to build a career in executive search.

You'll ideally have:

A 2:1 degree or above in any discipline.

At least one year's experience in a customer-facing role (this can be in hospitality, sales or similar

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Confidence speaking with people over the phone.

A proactive, self-motivated approach and a strong work ethic.

A genuine desire to learn, develop and build a long-term career.

Evidence of achievement through sport, work, leadership or other competitive environments.

What's on Offer £27,000-£28,000 basic salary with first-year OTE of approximately £35,000.Structured training and mentoring from experienced executive search professionals.
