The role of the Senior Recruiter is an opportunity to deliver recruitment services in line with agreed service levels and campaigns. This will involve utilising recruitment technology applications and agreed end-to-end processes to provide recruitment services for graduate and intern programmes for the business lines it will support.
A key component of this role is to manage the selection process of candidates from within the marketplace to agreed campaign timelines. This is a key role that requires a responsive and client-facing individual.

Working closely and collaboratively with the wider team, the Senior Recruiter will strategically campaign manage across their Early Careers programmes, overseeing campus event activity, pipeline management, assessment centres, on-boarding and candidate and hiring manager satisfaction during the end-to-end process.

Key Accountabilities

Financial & Operational Excellence

Responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including:

  • Partnering with managers and hiring stakeholders to support recruitment planning and business needs.
  • Managing university engagement, employer branding activities, talent pools, and attraction initiatives.
  • Building strong relationships with hiring managers, HR partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Acting as custodian of the employer value proposition (EVP) throughout the candidate lifecycle.
  • Ensuring accurate recruitment system management and reporting.
  • Overseeing candidate screening, interviews, assessments, offer management, and onboarding.
  • Monitoring diversity goals and candidate pipelines.
  • Driving continuous improvement of recruitment processes, assessment methodologies, and service delivery.
  • Supporting intern programmes, performance reviews, development, and conversion activities.
  • Providing regular management information and recruitment insights.

Client Focus

  • Delivering an exceptional candidate experience through effective communication and best-practice selection methods.
  • Developing a strong understanding of client businesses and hiring requirements.
  • Building collaborative relationships with stakeholders and identifying service improvement opportunities.
  • Supporting and mentoring team members while promoting organisational values and culture.
  • Managing and supporting a Campus Coordinator, including workload allocation and performance oversight.

Specialist Expertise

  • Maintaining strong knowledge of recruitment trends, market intelligence, legislation, and SLAs.
  • Conducting market research and contributing to strategic recruitment projects.
  • Leveraging AI tools and recruitment technology to improve efficiency, insights, compliance, and candidate experience.
Skills & Requirements
  • Proven end-to-end recruitment experience, ideally within Early Careers, Graduate, Campus, or high-volume hiring.
  • Experience recruiting within Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Asset Management, Professional Services, or another regulated environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, partnering with hiring managers and HR teams.
  • Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle from attraction through to offer and onboarding.
  • Knowledge of graduate programmes, university engagement, and talent attraction strategies.
  • Ability to manage talent pools, recruitment campaigns, and multiple hiring priorities.
  • Experience using ATS systems and maintaining accurate recruitment data.
  • Strong reporting, analytical, and process improvement skills.
  • Excellent candidate care, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Understanding of diversity & inclusion principles and recruitment compliance.
