About The Job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London within the People & Culture team, the People & Culture Manager is responsible for supporting on and leading the People & Culture strategy for the Hotel.

As a People & Culture Manager at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, you will be responsible for the following duties:
  • To support, develop, implement, and adhere to corporate & hotel People & Culture policies and procedures.
  • To manage all vacancies and recruitment function, in line with budget requirements, reviewing where necessary in line with operational needs.
  • To provide specialized People & Culture guidance across the full employee lifecycle to Heads of Department and colleagues in order to achieve the hotel's strategic business objectives.
  • To manage all colleagues' procedures with regard to starters, transfers, promotions and variations plus leavers.
  • To ensure that all People & Culture administration procedures are carried out in accordance with hotel and legal requirements.
  • Represent the Director of People & Culture in their absence.
  • To control day-to-day colleague administration in response to requests and action plans.
  • To manage and administer Disciplinary & Grievance procedures in conjunction with the Director of People & Culture.
  • To maintain effective colleague relations with regard to colleague engagement (including social activities), wellbeing, health, hygiene, and safety are maintained
  • Oversee the day-to-day P&C operations and the workflow of the department, maintaining an open-door policy and a friendly and inviting office.
