We are working with a leading international law firm to recruit a newly created Senior Global Mobility Manager position.

This is a rare opportunity to establish and lead a Global Mobility function within a growing international law firm.

Working closely with senior HR leadership across the business, you'll be responsible for developing the firm's global mobility strategy, policies and governance framework, while also acting as the central point of contact for international relocations, secondments and cross-border assignments.

This Senior Global Mobility Manager position is a role that combines strategic leadership with hands‑on delivery, requiring someone who can build processes and shape long‑term direction whilst managing relocation requests, advising stakeholders and ensuring a seamless experience for employees moving internationally. Alongside overseeing day‑to‑day mobility activity, you'll help strengthen decision‑making through cost‑benefit analysis, commercial guidance and the development of robust mobility policies and procedures.

Hybrid Working: 3 days in office per week

Key duties will include:

  • Developing and implementing the firm's global mobility strategy, policies and procedures.
  • Establishing and shaping a stellar global mobility function to support the firm's international growth.
  • Acting as the firm's subject matter expert on global mobility, international assignments, relocations and secondments.
  • Managing international relocation requests and cross-border assignments from initial enquiry through to completion.
  • Working closely with the wider HR team and Office Managers in local international offices to deliver a seamless mobility service.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for employees, HR teams and senior stakeholders throughout the mobility lifecycle.
  • Conducting cost‑benefit analysis on proposed international moves, preparing business cases and supporting commercially sound decision‑making.
  • Providing practical advice and guidance on mobility, immigration and assignment‑related matters.
  • Reviewing, improving and embedding mobility processes to ensure consistency, efficiency and compliance.
  • Ensuring mobility activities remain compliant across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Monitoring market trends and introducing best practice to continually enhance the firm's mobility offering.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Global Mobility Manager with a background within the legal sector
. You will possess strong technical knowledge of international mobility, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to build and develop processes within a complex international organisation. This role would suit someone who enjoys creating structure, driving improvement and influencing business strategy.
