About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and organised
Recruitment Assistant to join our growing recruitment team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in recruitment and gain hands‑on experience across candidate sourcing, applicant management, interview coordination and recruitment administration.
You will work closely with our recruitment team to identify potential candidates, manage applications and help deliver a smooth and professional candidate experience from initial contact through to placement.
Key Responsibilities- Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals and other recruitment channels.
- Generate candidate leads and build a strong pipeline of potential applicants.
- Review applications and CVs against role requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date candidate records using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Contact candidates by phone, email and other communication channels.
- Arrange and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Create and post engaging job adverts across recruitment platforms.
- Support recruitment campaigns and social media activity to attract suitable candidates.
- Assist with onboarding and pre‑employment checks where required.
- Keep recruitment records and documentation accurate and compliant.
- Track candidate activity and recruitment progress.
- Provide general administrative support to the recruitment team.
- Confident and professional when communicating with candidates.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable speaking to people over the phone.
- Proactive and motivated to achieve recruitment targets.
- Able to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Confident using computers, email and Microsoft Office.
- Interested in developing a long‑term career in recruitment.
- Previous recruitment, sales, customer service or administration experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
