What You'll Be DoingAt the heart of the House of Commons, our Recruitment Team delivers a high-quality, people-focused hiring service across the House and Joint Departments. Managing around 800 recruitment campaigns each year, we help attract outstanding talent, support internal mobility, and ensure every candidate enjoys a fair, inclusive and seamless recruitment experience.
As a Recruitment Adviser, you will lead end-to-end recruitment campaigns across a diverse portfolio of roles within the Parliamentary Digital Service (PDS). Working in partnership with hiring managers and People & Culture colleagues, you will provide expert advice on attraction strategies, assessment and selection methods, and market trends, ensuring a positive and inclusive recruitment experience for all candidates.
You will also proactively source high-calibre digital and technology talent, build and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future recruitment needs, and play a key role in promoting and enhancing the PDS employer brand to attract the best candidates to Parliament.
This is a fast-paced and collaborative role where you will build trusted relationships with stakeholders across Parliament, develop innovative attraction strategies, and contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment and onboarding processes. Working as a valued recruitment partner, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding experience for candidates and hiring managers, ensuring recruitment is efficient, inclusive, compliant, and aligned with the values of the House of Commons.
This role is offered on a hybrid working basis, with an expectation of you spending 40% of your time in the office.

You'll have a proven track record of successfully tackling complex IT and digital recruitment challenges, with a strong understanding of the competitive IT and digital talent market preferably with in the public sector. In addition, you'll bring:

- Experience of recruitment and selection, including a solid understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes, exceptional candidate experience, relevant legislation and best recruitment practice. - Customer Service
- Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service, including taking the initiative to improve service levels, influence hiring managers, and improve outcomes for our candidates. - Stakeholder Engagement
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain good working relationships with a broad range of people at different levels, with the ability to challenge and influence those stakeholders, including senior stakeholders. - Effective Recruitment Planning and Delivery
- Experience of recruitment planning and of sourcing candidates using a variety of approaches. Able to prioritise workload to support the delivery of a high-quality recruitment service within tight timescales. - Working as a Team
