Monday Thursday 8.30am 17.00pm Friday 8.30am 16:00pm Next Generation have been appointed to recruitment for a HR & Payroll Administrator to work with an engineering business who supply parts into multiple industries. As the HR & Payroll Administrator you will be responsible for providing accurate, timely administrative and processing support across Payroll & HR, maintaining employee records. Processing payroll inputs and preparing standard HR documentation.

Duties of the HR & Payroll Administrator:
Process monthly payroll inputs new starters, leavers, pay changes, overtime, absence and expenses accurately and to the payroll deadline, liaising with the payroll bureau to resolve data queries. Administration support regarding statutory payroll processes, including SSP, SMP, SPP and SAP calculations, issuing P45s and P60s, and processing pension auto-enrolment opt-ins, opt-outs and contribution uploads. Maintain and update employee records, personnel files and the HR system, ensuring data is accurate, complete and held securely and confidentially.

Process new starter and leaver administration right-to-work checks, references, contracts and system access and issue standard employment documentation from approved templates. Maintain absence, holiday, training and certification records; produce routine HR and payroll reports; and file and archive documentation in line with GDPR and the company's data retention policy. The successful candidate for the HR & Payroll Administrators position will have the following experience: 3 5 years experience processing payroll cycles and statutory payroll documentation (SSP, SMP,SPP, SAP P45, P60) - (Essential) Pension auto-enrolment administration - (Essential) HR/Payroll system and Excel skills - (Essential) CIPD Level 3 - (Desirable) Due to the high number of applications, we receive, we are sometimes not able to respond directly to each candidate.
