Mondrian Alpha is partnering with a leading high-frequency trading firm on a newly created global hire. The firm is built on world-class engineering and quantitative research, and has grown significantly over the past decade. It is now expanding its presence across multiple global offices and is investing in the infrastructure needed to support that growth, including a more structured and globally consistent approach to how it develops its people.
In this role, you will set the direction and strategy for talent development globally and own the annual learning and development plan. Alongside the strategic remit, the role carries real operational responsibility, covering programme delivery, budgets, governance, compliance, and measurement. You'll work closely with the firm's internal Academy, which already runs several development programmes spanning onboarding, graduate and internship schemes, and technical training, and you'll partner with HR on the annual performance review process and sit on the firm's Training Committee.
The expectation is that you bring coherence and consistency to what exists, extend it across geographies, and raise the overall standard of how the firm develops its people at every level.
For this, we are looking for candidates with significant experience within a quant / tech / consultancy / financial services firm. You should have a highly strategic and rounded profile, and first-hand experience in a technical role is highly desirable. It is important to be effective working in a technical capacity and be effective in influencing stakeholders across all verticals and seniorities.
The firm offers highly competitive compensation and a strong benefits package. This is a rare opportunity to join one of the most respected firms in its space in a well-resourced role with impactful scope.
