The Role As a Graduate Recruitment Consultant, you'll specialise within the finance market, developing an in-depth understanding of your chosen sector while building relationships with both candidates and clients. Your responsibilities will include:
Researching and identifying high-calibre finance professionals Headhunting candidates across specialist financial markets Building long-term relationships with candidates and senior industry professionals Developing partnerships with investment banks, private equity firms, hedge funds and financial institutions Understanding client hiring requirements and advising on available talent Managing recruitment processes from initial briefing through to successful placement Conducting candidate interviews and assessing suitability Using Linked In, networking, market research, advertising and direct outreach to source talent Guiding candidates throughout the interview and offer process Developing your negotiation, influencing and business development skills Learning how to negotiate and close high-value recruitment deals Building your own network and reputation within the financial services market Working towards individual revenue and performance targets Who We're Looking For We're looking for ambitious individuals who are: 2024 graduates with commercial, sales or customer-facing experience 2025 graduates with a 2:1 degree or above 2026 graduates on track for a 2:1 or above Confident communicators who enjoy building relationships Highly motivated by financial success and career progression Competitive and driven to achieve ambitious targets Resilient and comfortable dealing with rejection Naturally curious about business, markets and the financial services industry Hungry to become an expert within a specialist market Comfortable operating in a professional, high-performance environment Previous recruitment, sales or cold-calling experience is advantageous but not essential .
