The Role We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Lead with 5-10 years of experience in technology recruitment, with a strong track record of hiring mid-to-senior level Engineering, Data and AI talent.

This is a hands-on role for someone who has operated in fast-paced, high-growth hiring environments and is comfortable managing multiple specialist and business-critical roles simultaneously.

You should have strong knowledge of the technology talent market, be confident engaging experienced technical candidates, and understand how to identify and attract talent beyond traditional job applications.

What You'll DoOwn end-to-end talent acquisition across mid-to-senior technology roles.

Recruit across Software Engineering, Data, AI/ML and related technical functions.

Partner with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to understand requirements, priorities and candidate profiles.

Build targeted sourcing strategies for specialist and hard-to-find technology talent.

Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through Linked In, talent platforms, referrals and direct sourcing.

Conduct initial candidate screening and assess experience, technical alignment, motivations and overall suitability.

Build and maintain strong pipelines for current and future hiring requirements.

Manage multiple vacancies simultaneously while maintaining speed and quality.

Coordinate candidates throughout the recruitment process and maintain a strong candidate experience.

Track recruitment activity, pipeline health and hiring progress.

Develop strong talent networks across the UK technology ecosystem.

Stay informed on technology hiring trends, talent availability and market movements.

Work closely with internal teams to continuously improve hiring processes and outcomes.

What We're Looking For5-10 years of Talent Acquisition or Recruitment experience, with a strong focus on technology hiring.

Demonstrable experience hiring mid-to-senior level technical professionals.

Strong recruitment experience across Software Engineering, Data and AI/ML.Experience operating in a fast-paced startup, scaleup, technology business or high-growth recruitment environment.

Strong direct sourcing and headhunting capability.

Proven ability to identify and engage high-quality passive candidates.

Strong understanding of technical roles, candidate profiles and technology talent markets.

Comfortable managing several specialist vacancies simultaneously.

Experience working directly with hiring managers and senior stakeholders.

Strong candidate assessment and interviewing skills.

Commercial and delivery-focused mindset with a strong sense of urgency.

Excellent communication, organisation and relationship-management skills.

Particularly Relevant Experience We are particularly interested in candidates who have recruited across:

Software Engineering | Backend Engineering | Full Stack | Platform & Cloud | Dev Ops/SRE | Data Engineering | Data Science | Machine Learning | Artificial Intelligence | AI Engineering | Technical Leadership Experience recruiting for startups, scaleups, technology companies or specialist technology teams would be highly desirable.
