We are seeking motivated and adaptable individuals to join a small, dedicated team supporting the delivery of the Oracle Optimisation Project and wider HR Service Improvement Programme.

Working at the heart of a significant period of organisational change, you will play a key role in ensuring that council-wide restructuring activity is accurately reflected within Oracle HCM and related systems.

This includes maintaining organisational structures, reporting hierarchies, positions, and employee records to support business continuity and workforce management. Alongside critical operational activity, the team will contribute to transformation initiatives aimed at improving processes, simplifying ways of working, and supporting the development of a more modern, efficient and digitally enabled HR service.

This is a fast paced environment requiring individuals who can balance operational accuracy with continuous improvement, responding to changing priorities whilst maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on data accuracy.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment and be comfortable managing competing priorities.
  • Have experience of HR, workforce administration, organisational change, restructuring activity, or HR systems administration.
  • Demonstrate confidence working with complex organisational structures, reporting hierarchies and employee data.
  • Be proactive and solutions-focused, identifying issues and working collaboratively to resolve them.
  • Have strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across HR, payroll, recruitment, managers and wider business teams.
  • Be comfortable working with technology and systems and have the ability to quickly learn new processes and ways of working.
  • Show resilience, flexibility and a willingness to support both operational delivery and transformation activities.
Particularly Suited To

This opportunity would suit individuals who enjoy bringing structure to complexity, have a keen eye for detail, and are motivated by improving services and processes.

Experience of Oracle HCM, HR operations, workforce management, organisational design, payroll administration, recruitment administration, or business transformation would be advantageous, although a positive attitude, strong analytical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes are equally important.

In essence, we are looking for people who can work at pace, manage complex organisational data with confidence, and help shape the future of HR service delivery while ensuring the day-to-day operation continues to run smoothly.
