Job Description & How to Apply Below
Our client is an ambitious, entrepreneurial recruitment business with offices in London and Miami, entering a defining stage of growth. Its culture is its edge: the firm has achieved market-leading retention and eNPS without a dedicated people lead. It is now appointing a Head of People & Culture to protect and build on that culture as the business scales.
Reporting to the CEO, you will own the employee experience across both offices. You will define and embed the firm's values, sharpen its employee value proposition, turn engagement data into action, and make sure every person who joins feels the culture from day one. This is a hands-on role for someone who is as comfortable running an engagement survey as they are hosting an all-hands.
Key Responsibilities Culture and Values- Define and embed the firm's values so every employee understands them and sees them in how the business operates
- Safeguard and build on the firm's high-retention, high-engagement culture through rapid growth
- Keep London and Miami connected through shared rituals, events and communications
- Own eNPS and engagement surveys, analysing results and turning feedback into visible action
- Run stay interviews and exit interviews, sharing insight and trends with the leadership team
- Partner with the CEO and managers on action plans for teams where engagement dips
- Develop a compelling, differentiated employee value proposition that strengthens attraction and retention

- Shape the firm's inclusion and DEI approach, with clear, practical initiatives
- Work with the L&D and TA specialist to create an outstanding onboarding experience
- Partner with Marketing on internal communications for all people initiatives
- Own recognition programmes, incentives, company events and celebrations
- Identify and lead entries for industry awards such as best places to work
- Build simple, meaningful dashboards covering engagement, attrition and diversity
- Present people insight to the CEO and leadership team with clear recommendations
- An experienced People, Culture or Employee Experience professional at Manager or Head of level
- Recruitment, staffing or professional services experience strongly preferred, with a natural feel for entrepreneurial, sales-led cultures
- Proven delivery of engagement, EVP, wellbeing or culture initiatives with measurable results
- Confident using survey and people data to drive decisions
- Creative, energetic and visible, able to build trust at every level of the business
- Experience across multiple offices or international teams is an advantage
