Entry Level Recruitment Consultant

The Opportunity Our client is a specialist recruitment and executive search consultancy working across the automotive and engineering sectors. They partner with innovative businesses and leading organisations to identify highly skilled engineering and technical professionals across areas including electric vehicles, autonomous driving, connected vehicles and vehicle engineering. They are looking for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join their growing London team.

This is an entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a successful career in recruitment, sales and business development. No previous recruitment experience is required. The focus is on finding someone with the right attitude, commercial drive and potential to develop into a successful recruitment consultant. You may be a recent graduate or have experience in a customer-facing, sales, hospitality, retail, events or other target-driven environment. They're particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate:

The Role As a Recruitment Consultant, you will learn how to manage the recruitment process from identifying candidates through to successfully placing them with clients. Your responsibilities will include:
• Sourcing and identifying candidates using Linked In, recruitment databases and other channels
• Conducting candidate searches and market research
• Building and maintaining a network of engineering and technical professionals
• Speaking with candidates to understand their experience and career goals
• Conducting candidate interviews and assessing suitability
• Making outbound calls and developing candidate relationships
• Identifying new business opportunities
• Building relationships with hiring managers and clients
• Understanding client recruitment requirements
• Presenting suitable candidates to clients
• Managing interviews, offers and the recruitment process
• Negotiating offers and supporting candidates through to placement
• Developing specialist market knowledge across the automotive and engineering sectors
