People Operations and Payroll Assistant

Overview My client, a health research organisation are currently looking for a People Operations & Payroll Assistant to join their Team and support with people operations including onboarding, offboarding, payroll and other people operations duties.

• Process and support the monthly payroll, ensuring employee pay is accurate and on time
• Maintain employee records and update HR and payroll systems with any changes
• Manage employee lifecycle administration, including onboarding, contract changes and offboarding
• Prepare employment documents such as contracts, offer letters and amendment letters
• Handle employee queries and provide day–to–day HR and payroll support
• Produce reports, ensure data accuracy and help improve HR processes and systems

• Previous experience in HR administration, People Operations or payroll support positions
• Good understanding of payroll processes and HR procedures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling employee data
• Experience using HR systems and payroll software
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Strong communication skills

• Up to 300 per day (Umbrella rate)
• Hybrid working
