Trainee IT Recruitment Consultant – Infrastructure & Networking
City of London | Basic salary + uncapped commission | [£26,000 base / £36,000+ OTE]
We have recently been appointed as the exclusive recruitment partner for a global IT services company, and we're growing the team that will work on it.
Most new recruiters spend their first months cold-calling for clients and trying to build a pipeline from nothing. You'll start with live roles from a client we already have history with, so you can focus on learning the job and getting your first placements.
The role
You will start in a 180 desk, controlling the candidate process from first contact to placement:
* Finding and approaching technical candidates, and learning what motivates them.
* Working with the client to understand what each role needs
* Managing interviews, feedback, negotiation and offers
* Building your knowledge of data centre, networking and IT infrastructure hiring
* Working to individual targets, with commission that rises as you do

Who we're looking for
No recruitment experience is needed. You might be a graduate, or come from sales, hospitality or another customer-facing job. What matters is that you:
* Are motivated by targets and want your pay to reflect your results
* Can talk to all sorts of people and build rapport quickly
* Stay organised and keep going when a week doesn't go your way
* Want to learn fast and take ownership of your own desk
