Your new company

Our client is an ambitious, fast-paced business that brings together senior decision-makers, innovators and solution providers through market-leading events. With a commercial and entrepreneurial culture, employees are trusted with real responsibility and encouraged to bring new ideas, challenge existing ways of working and make things happen.

Your new role

As HR & Talent Manager, you will take ownership of a broad, hands-on remit across recruitment and the wider employee lifecycle. You will manage end-to-end hiring, from briefing managers and advertising vacancies through to proactive sourcing, screening, interviews and offers. Alongside talent acquisition, you will coordinate onboarding and offboarding, support managers and employees with day-to-day HR queries, and help deliver consistent performance, development, wellbeing and engagement processes.

You will also maintain accurate people data, support reporting, keep policies and employment documentation up to date, and identify opportunities to simplify and improve HR processes.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be CIPD Level 5 qualified with hands-on experience in HR or recruitment and a good understanding of the wider employee lifecycle. You will be confident managing recruitment activity, advising managers through people challenges and difficult conversations, and recognising when more complex matters need to be escalated. A working knowledge of UK employment law, strong communication skills and a commercial, pragmatic approach are essential.

You will also be comfortable using HR systems and data, able to prioritise in a changing environment, and proactive in identifying better ways of working.

What you'll get in return

Opportunity to build your experience across both HR and Talent in a varied role with genuine scope to make an impact. You will join an inclusive, entrepreneurial environment where ideas are welcomed, continuous improvement is encouraged and people are given the trust to take ownership.
