The Workers Authoring and Testing team focuses on authoring and testing on the Cloudflare Workers platform. You will join a team that enables developers worldwide to build low-latency, planet-scale applications for the Internet and the Web.

• Create and improve development tools to support authoring and testing with Cloudflare Workers
• Work on projects that span multiple development surfaces, including CLIs, build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and web framework integrations
• Converge existing tools and systems to simplify our product portfolio and increase quality and cohesion of the development experience
• Help feature teams craft their public JavaScript/Type Script APIs
• Contribute to internal and public-facing technical documentation
• Support the health and availability of services by being part of an on-call rotation
• Collaborate with engineers across Cloudflare and contribute at many layers of the stack
• Help implement metrics and dashboards to monitor operational health after projects ship
• Leverage creativity and developer prowess to seek out new ways to improve the platform

• Excited by helping application developers be successful
• Experienced with JavaScript and Type Script
• Passionate about development tools, libraries, frameworks, and workflows
• Able to untangle and re-architect complex distributed systems to improve efficiency and simplify future development
• Able to distill developer pain points into a smaller number of root causes

• Naturally curious and eager to learn something new
• Collaborator and effective communicator, valuing teamwork and high standards

You’ll feel at home if you have:

• Experience using the Cloudflare Workers development platform
• Experience contributing to open source projects
• Experience with production system monitoring
• Experience with a variety of modern JS web frameworks
• Public speaking or developer relations skills
