Helpdesk Analyst – Highly Prestigious Hedge Fund – London
My client, a highly prestigious hedge fund, is seeking a Helpdesk Analyst to join their IT Operations team.
As a key member of the BAU Ops team, you’ll provide first‑line/second‑line support across a broad range of technologies and systems, ensuring the seamless day‑to‑day operation of the firm’s IT environment. This includes support for desktop applications, Microsoft technologies (including Azure and Office 365), meeting‑room setups (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.), and network connectivity/performance issues.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver desktop support and troubleshooting for a diverse set of tools.
- Manage user accounts and permissions in Azure and Office 365.
- Assist with AV technology in corporate settings.
- Support onboarding/offboarding, hardware (desktops, laptops, mobiles, printers).
- Participate in IT projects such as upgrades, deployments and new‑technology rollouts.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
- Strong foundation in desktop support and Microsoft technologies.
- Core network fundamentals knowledge.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting a wide range of IT issues.
