What you’ll be doingAs a Junior Project Manager at Bridewell, you will play a crucial role in the management of Cyber Security projects, supporting the successful execution of initiatives that safeguard our clients’ organisations against evolving threats. You will contribute to the enhancement of the overall Cyber Security posture and resilience of our clients, enabling the collaboration of cross‑functional teams to deliver cutting‑edge solutions that align with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Assist in managing projects such as Security Framework Audits, Cyber Strategy, Cyber Risk Management, Data Privacy, Offensive Security, Security Architecture, and Cloud Security & Engineering.
- Support the start‑up and initiation phases of Cyber Security projects by helping to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Help develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation approaches under the guidance of Senior Project Managers.
- Assist with thorough documentation of deliverables and outcomes against project plans.
- Participate in conducting risk assessments and assist in developing mitigation strategies to address potential project risks.
- Learn to utilise industry frameworks and standards for robust risk management practices.
- Support the end‑to‑end management of projects, ensuring alignment with the Association for Project Management guidance.
- Assist in the onboarding process for Managed Security Services including Managed Detection & Response, Cyber Threat Intelligence, and Vulnerability Management Services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and clients.
- Support effective communication of project progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project objectives.
- Work closely with a team of security professionals, providing support and learning from their expertise. Encourage a collaborative and innovative work culture within the project team.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the project management lifecycle.
- Participate in knowledge sharing and continuous learning amongst project teams, promoting ongoing professional development.
- Support the creation of regular status reports for senior leadership and clients, highlighting key achievements and challenges.
- Actively engage in professional development by attending relevant training sessions, workshops, and industry conferences to stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in project management and cyber security.
- 6 months experience as a Junior Project Manager or Project Co‑ordinator, ideally in Cyber Security or Information Technology with a focus on supporting projects from initiation to completion.
- Foundational level qualification in project management (e.g., APM PFQ, PRINCE2 Foundation, Agile
PM Foundation) with a commitment to ongoing professional development. - Eligibility of becoming an Associate Member of the Association for Project Management.
- Basic knowledge of Cyber Security principles, standards, and technologies desirably resulting in a foundation level qualification (e.g. ISC2 CC, BCS CISMP).
- Experience of working with a Cyber Security services provider or Cyber Security function would be preferable.
