Senior Project Manager – BNPL / Fintech / Retail Partnership 6-Month Contract | £450–500 p / d (Outside IR35) | Hybrid UK

A fast-scaling fintech is partnering with a major UK retail group on a high-profile Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) initiative — and they’re looking for a confident, commercially sharp Project Manager to take the lead.

This role sits at the intersection of two sizeable organisations, steering alignment, delivery structure and stakeholder confidence for a complex digital payments programme.

You’ll be the bridge between the fintech’s product / engineering leadership and the retail group’s senior platform, commercial and marketing teams.

• Re-energise a BNPL programme that’s moving from discovery into accelerated delivery
• Align stakeholders across both organisations (not just tech, but commercial and marketing too)
• Bring structure, clear governance and dependable delivery cadence
• Improve communication flow and quality of output across cross‑functional teams
• Present confidently to senior decision‑makers in both environments

This role suits someone who enjoys navigating multi‑partner landscapes and can quickly build credibility.

• Solid background delivering digital / IT programmes (ideally retail, e‑commerce, fintech or payments)
• Strong relationship builder with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders
• Experience working in or between partner‑led or dual‑organisation delivery models
• Commercial awareness — able to align marketing, product and delivery goals
• Bonus: credit, lending, cards, fintech or BNPL experience
• A proactive, resilient, structured approach to delivery and governance

Day Rate: £450–500pd (Outside IR35)
