Location: Greater London
Desktop Support - Hedge Fund - £60k
Saragossa, Greater London, England, United Kingdom
Support all users in this global hedge fund as part of a small IT team that covers all IT issues.
Responsibilities- Provide first and second line support for Windows, Azure, Active Directory and other Microsoft environment issues.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems such as printers, laptops, and network connectivity.
- Use Power Shell scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
- Respond to traders on the floor, resolve issues quickly during trading hours.
- Handle administrative tasks with full systems admin access, avoiding unnecessary escalation.
- Experience in a similar small or mid‑size tech environment, preferably a financial or hedge‑fund setting.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Azure, Active Directory.
- Basic Power Shell scripting skills.
- Experience with virtualization and networking is a huge plus.
- Hybrid model: must be comfortable working both on‑site and remotely.
Up to £60,000 + generous bonus up to 30–35% of salary based on performance.
Hybrid position with potential for future travel.
