Working as part of a wider transformation team, the Business Analyst works closely with customers and internal teams to gain a strong understanding of business strategy, processes, services, and operating context. The role focuses on capturing and analysing business requirements, identifying process improvements and ensuring business needs are clearly translated into effective technical solutions.
This role plays an important part in representing the customer perspective throughout delivery and supporting change initiatives across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities- Identify key stakeholders and gather business requirements and functional specifications
- Analyse, document, and map business processes, including defining “As Is” and “To Be” states
- Support the identification of gaps, risks and opportunities for process improvement
- Work closely with technical delivery teams to ensure business requirements are understood and reflected in solution design
- Challenge assumptions to ensure proposed solutions meet both current and future business needs
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Technical Leads and project stakeholders to ensure priorities and dependencies are clear
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution support, and defect management
- Assist with the development and delivery of training materials and support for end user
- Work with internal teams and third-party vendors, including developers, architects, QAs, and other business analysts, using a range of delivery methodologies and tools
- Maintain clear documentation and ensure traceability of requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle

- Managing time effectively and delivering against agreed commitments
It would be great if you have:
- Practical experience working as a Business Analyst in a transformation or delivery environment
- Experience supporting projects using recognised delivery methodologies, particularly Agile
- An understanding of the technologies used within a Microsoft-centric environment e.g. Entra, Purview, Defender, M365, Azure etc.
- Experience using delivery and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Office 365 and Azure Dev Ops
- Exposure to UAT processes and business change activities
- Experience working in a consulting, systems integrator or similar client-facing environment
- An industry-recognised Business Analyst qualification (desirable but not essential)
