We are partnering with a leading organisation in the residential real estate sector, managing over 300,000 homes across the UK. They are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to manage a small team and oversee the organisation’s technical security environment. This is a hands-on management role, focusing on Microsoft 365, Azure, and security operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor a team of 4 cybersecurity professionals
• Oversee and support technical security across Azure and Microsoft 365
• Monitor and manage alerts via Sentinel and Microsoft Defender
• Drive security improvements through hands-on technical leadership (SOC, vulnerability management, etc.)
• Engage effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives
• Support agile delivery methodology within the security team

Experience and Skills:

• Strong technical expertise in Azure, Microsoft 365, Sentinel, and Defender
• Hands-on experience with SOC operations, vulnerability management, or other technical security functions
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
