Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Integration Developer with strong exposure to the London Market (Lloyd's & Specialty re (Insurance)) to design, build, and maintain high-quality integration solutions across the Guidewire platform Claim Center. The ideal candidate understands both Guidewire technical architecture and the unique business processes of the London Market, including delegated authority, bordereaux, syndicate operations, and regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities Guidewire Integration Development Design and develop integrations using Guidewire Integration Framework (GOSU, SOAP/REST Web Services, Messaging, Batch Processes) Build integrations with key London Market systems such as:
Lloyd's Delegated Data Manager (DDM) Velonetic (Central Settlement, CLASS, ECF/ECF2) ACORD messaging Develop plug-ins, event-firing rules, message transports, and custom API interfaces London Market Domain Support Implement solutions aligned with London Market standards (ACORD, Lloyd's Blueprint Two) Claims workflows:
Open Market, Delegated Authority, Cover holder operations, and reinsurance Manage data transformations for bordereaux, syndication, claims, and endorsements Technical Design & Delivery Translate business requirements into technical designs and integration specifications Optimize performance of integrations across middleware and Guidewire services Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices Collaboration Work with cross-functional teams:
Underwriting, Operations, Claims, Technology Collaborate with offshore/onshore teams and external vendors Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and PI planning Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire 10 (Claim Center) Expertise in: GOSU programming SOAP/REST Web Services Messaging, Kafka, MQ, ESB/Mule Soft, Dell Boomi, Azure Integration Services (if applicable) JSON, XML, XSD, XSLT SQL, Oracle, or SQL Server Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops)
Experience with cloud deployments (AWS/Azure) preferred London Market Expertise Understanding of:
Lloyd's processes (ECF, CLASS, IMR, London Market Processes Lloyd's and Company Market, DA workflows) ACORD standards Bureau reporting Claims and underwriting workflows for Lloyd's/Specialty carriers Experience working on London Market transformation initiatives is highly desirable Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work with business stakeholders and translate domain requirements into technical solutions Excellent communication and documentation skills Preferred Certifications Guidewire Certified Specialist / Professional Developer ACORD certification Cloud certifications (AWS / Azure) are a plus Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
